Fender Rumble 60 Bass Guitar Amplifier (60 Watts, 1x12 in.)

No longer available at zZounds
Fender Special Design speaker. 4-band EQ.

The Rumble 60 combo pushes out 60 watts of power via its 12 in. Fender Special Design speaker and houses a 4-band EQ. This feature gives you control over the low and high mid-range frequencies. The Mid Scoop switch notches out the mid frequencies, which is perfect for thumb style slapping and popping. A Line Out jack allows the signal to be sent from the amp into a PA system or recording console. The Rumble 60 is a great practice amp or second amp for beginners and professionals alike.

Displaying attributes usually found on more expensive amplifiers, Rumble Series combos feature carpet covering, oversized plastic corners, metal grille and the new Fender(R) Bass Amplification logo. Also, the Rumble 100, 60 and 25 combo's exclusive red "stage light" pulsates with your playing to inspire you to get better faster! Available in four different models, Rumble Series combos have the tones and features demanded by pro players, yet are affordable enough for beginning bassists.

"Loud and clear!"

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I may need another amp for bigger venues (though I will probably just use the output from this to the PA) but it is a great rehearsal and practice amp.
Sound
Clean and clear even when cranked. Very loud for a 60W; fine in a small venue setting.
Features
There is no built in overdrive/distortion and it would be nice to have because the tone is so clear. The RCA jacks (CD in) are nice; I have used a laptop as a drum machine and it controls its own volume and tone separately from the amp settings for my bass.
Ease of Use
Very simple.
Quality
No troubles...
Value
One of the better priced items due to quality
Manufacturer Support
This is second hand info, because I have never had to deal with support.
The Wow Factor
It's the real deal!
