Overview

The Epiphone Flying V from the Inspired by Gibson Collection recreates the ultra-rare 1958 classic. It is equipped with a pair of Epiphone ProBucker humbucker pickups for that vintage tone, a string-thru tailpiece, Epiphone Vintage Deluxe tuners, and the vintage ornament Epiphone logo on the headstock. This Epiphone Inspired by Gibson Original model also has a rolled neck for a comfortable feel, a Graph Tech NuBone nut, era appropriate wiring, and CTS potentiometers. Optional Hardshell case.

I am a little torn on this one, The guitar shipped and arrived safely, It plays great and is a great value. My only complaint is that I do not think the finish is on par with other Epiphone’s that I own. The blue sparkle looks good but there are a few areas where the silver flake was sprayed heavy over the blue which makes the guitar look like it is blemished in places. I should have returned it but I peeled the plastic when I played it. So beware uneven finish may be an issue if you order one of these.
