I just purchased this Alesis USB microphone podcasting kit from zZounds, and even though I'm new at podcasting and this is the first microphone I've tried, the sound quality is excellent, it's very simple to use & I'm happy that I chose this mic! I was also very happy with the fast & great service from zZounds -- I would purchase from zZounds again. By the way, I don't normally write reviews, but I just was so happy with the microphone (which I bought as a Christmas present for myself -- :-) ), and since it bought it based on a review, I thought I'd return the favor & review it for anyone else looking to buy a microphone for podcasting. I'm a newbee and know nothing about audio recording -- but I'm very impressed with how easy this kit was to set up & use, and also the great quality of the recording!
