zZounds Gear Experts Say...
Compact multi-effects pedal featuring 24 programmable patch locations, 24 effects types, with up to 9 simultaneously.

Mobile players need mobile effects, so take a peek at the Zoom 505, which stuffs 24 essential modulators into a small and very modestly priced pedal: compressor, limiter, auto wah, pedal wah, acoustic simulator, rhythm, overdrive, distortion, blues, fuzz, lead, metal, zoom noise reduction, amp simulator, 4-band EQ, phase shift, chorus, flanger, doubling, step, pitch shift, delay, hall reverb and room reverb.

You can hook 8 of those effects up at a time and store up to 24 patches in memory. Perfect to toss in the backpack and take to a jam session, rehearsal, or recording date. And on a gig, it will give you more room on stage to jump around and show off. (And you thought we didn't know what was important!)

One more thing: We strongly suggest that you compliment your 505 with the Zoom FP-01 foot pedal (check out Accessories to the left) which will make that whole wah thing a little easier, not to mention adding a whole extra level of control to the 505.

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
The zoom 505 has a considerable ammount of features however it is beginning to get old. There are many never and more EXPENSIVE pedals with greater sound and abillity. Although this pedal has all the basics to keep you amused for months. but for the price(especially used) i'd have to say that it is ideal for a casual guitar player or beginner(Rocker:)...
