To be honest, at first sight, she was beautiful. When I actually picked it up and strummed a "G" chord I wasn't impressed at all. The action was really high, which for Yamaha I thought was odd. I've played several new Yamahas that were great right out of the box. I liked the the looks of the FSC-TA and the quality of the guitar itself was very nice. After playing for it for a few minutes I was getting frustrated ready to send it back. I then capo'd the guitar on the 2nd fret, it played great and sounded very nice. Truly impressed. I have it scheduled to go to a local luthier for set up. As for the trans-acoustic effects, AMAZING!! Sounds great playing without it turned on, sounds even better playing with it on. In my opinion, well worth the money, especially for lower priced guitars. I can't wait to play and feel it after set up. Happy playing Y'all!!
