This Vox overwhelms beyond all expectations as far as price, tone, and audible "feel". It plays itself creating a pallette for your skills that is unencumbered by annoying idiosyncrasies and glaring tone flaws. It is better than any Fender tube amp I have owned, which includes Fender's good tube amps. I prefer low powered tube amps as I live with neighbors close by. A phenomenal first tube amp choice, or rehearsal and gig amp for smallish venues. I absolutely love this amp and so do my Sheraton and Casino. The Vox brings wonderful clean tones with beautiful neutrality.
