This ultra compact, single-channel Victory RD1 Rob Chapman Signature Guitar Amplifier Head is a superb rock machine for all-valve tone wherever you go. The dual EL84, fixed-bias power section delivers up to 28 watts in full power mode, and just 2 watts in low power. And it's only 263mm wide smaller than an A4 sheet! Chappers: "I wanted something that was affordable, doesn't compromise on tone and is made in England. It's a straight-ahead, giggable, no-nonsense valve amp: clean to scream at the turn of a knob."

I purchased this amp (BD1) because it was designed by Martin Kidd (Cornford) and made in the UK. So the design and build quality are top notch. This amp is all about dirt. With 3 knobs and 2 switches on the ampand using your guitar’s tone and volume controls you can get a variety of low & medium gain classic rock tones all the way to high gain 80’s hard rock/metal tones. Those tones are achievable at home volume levels or gig levels thanks to the power switch. The FX loop plays nicely with pedals and the included carrying bag fits like a glove, so traveling with it is easy.
