Victory BD1 Guitar Amplifier Head (28 Watts)

No longer available at zZounds
Don't let its size fool you -- the BD1's a powerful amp overflowing with tone. Switch down to 2 watts in Low Power mode for saturated tone at modest volumes.

Ultra compact and single-channel, the Victory BD1 Guitar Amplifier Head is a superb-sounding rock machine designed for real, all-valve tone wherever you go. Despite the tiny box, the dual-EL84, fixed-bias power section delivers up to 28 watts in full power mode, and just 2 watts in low power. And it's only 263mm wide -- smaller than an A4 sheet of paper and super easy to fly with.

Ok,Forget about the Rob Chapman thing to start.I'm not a fan and don't watch him on youtube.Nothing against the guy I'm just not familiar.I bought the amp because it's EL84 based tone and the simplicity of the controls and the wattage. The amp sounds amazing in 28watt mode.I haven't messed with the 2 watt mode that much.In the high mode with basically the gain and contour at 12o'clock and volume at 1 or 2o'clock it's a rock machine and very loud.Get the volume to the 3o'clock and past it will blow your face off.I threw a tube screamer in front and plugged into a Avatar 1x12 with vintage 30.Sounds amazing. It's built very well and I haven't had any issues out the box.
