I have no plans for anything else at the moment, and no way of knowing when the next GAS attack will hit. I plan to spend a long time learning how to use this product and working on vocal technique at the same time.
Sound
The sound is killer. Let me put it this way: My dry singing is fine in a group but not very good for solo work. But if I run the mic through the Correct, I sound like somebody I could listen to on a gig. My tone sounds more even, thick, and solid. The pitch is spot on. The voice sounds more authoritative. This is not just adding reverb and delay, etc., and it is very hard to describe in words. I really would suggest checking out the TCH site. NOTE: One thing, the Correct is not going to turn your sound from frog-like to prince-like, although it obviously made a big enough difference to me. It cleans up passable or good vocal technique, but the box does not come with a magic wand.
Features
The Correct is intended to be a simple product, and it was a plug and play delight for me. I inserted it between my mic and amp, adjusted the output level, and started singing. The Correct is light, compact, and rugged. It provides auto-pitch correction, adaptive compression, EQ, and de-essing. There is a mic input and dry and wet outputs (all XLR). It is adjustable if you prefer, but you can't load or save programs. You need a separate unit if you want to further process your sound with reverb,… read more delay, distortion, or special effects (e.g., megaphone). TCH sells a companion product for this purpose, but I already have that covered with something else. I forgive the lack of features that I would insist on in other products (programmability and midi or USB connectivity) because the Correct does what I bought it to do so nicely: Improve the sound of my voice, and without any tweaking needed.
Ease of Use
Like falling off a log. Simplicity seems to be part of the design philosophy of this product.
Quality
I haven't had mine for long, but it seems pretty bomb-proof to me and came without any blemishes or anything. It looks pretty tight.
Value
It's really hard for me to compare value because this is a very specialized product but it does one thing superbly: clean the rough edges off of my voice. How much is that worth to you?
Manufacturer Support
I can't really say about support yet. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt because the manual was okay, and everything else about them seems pretty cool. I haven't needed support yet.
The Wow Factor
I'm not big on sex appeal unless the product is made of wood or if its a horn. I gave the Correct a 10 because it looks like a quality product, it's small, and "tasteful". You could picture it unobtrusively on a band stand in a jazz lounge. Does that turn you on?
