Overview
Taylor TaylorSense Guitar Health Monitoring System is a smart battery box equipped with sensing technology that monitors your Taylor guitar's humidity, temperature, battery life, and impact incidents. The battery box replaces an existing battery box on Taylor guitars featuring any of the following onboard pickups with a 9V battery: Expression System 1 or 2, ES-T, or ES-N. In addition to tracking the guitar's condition, TaylorSense uses low-energy Bluetooth to send your guitar's data to the free TaylorSense Mobile App -- available for both iOS and Android devices -- which sends push notification alerts when the guitar needs care. The timely alerts include links to easy-to-follow videos created by Taylor's experts that show you how to solve problems when they arise.
The TaylorSense Mobile App is compatible with most iOS and Android mobile devices and operating system versions. Installing the battery box is easy thanks to simple instructions, or you can have an authorized Taylor service technician do it.

"Battery indicator not accurate"

I have used the Taylor Sense battery box for about 3 months now. I have relied on the battery life indicator to give me the assurance that I would make it through a set. Twice now I have lost battery power during a set. More than when I didn’t have the app! My battery will typically die when the app shows 65-70% battery life! I called Taylor to help figure out what is happening and they said that that was normal. So now I change my battery at 70%. The Taylor Sense instructions don’t mention this at all. They say change it at 10%. This is a major flaw in the app and should be changed. The battery indication was the main reason I bought the device and now I don’t feel much better off than before!
