Singer-songwriter Jason Mraz, a San Diego native, collaborated with Taylor Guitars to create a unique signature nylon instrument that encompassed many of the traits of his longtime companion NS72ce model nylon guitar.

The Taylor JMSM nylon guitar features all-solid Indian Rosewood back and sides with a solid Western Red Cedar top. This gives the player the lush, powerful low end of rosewood along with the warmth of the cedar top, that responds brilliantly to fingerstyle playing or lighter strumming. Similar to other Taylor nylon models, the JMSM will appeal to steel string players, offering an easy transition with a radius fingerboard and a slightly narrower nut width than a traditional classical guitar.

The smaller, more compact body shape makes this model super comfortable and with 12 frets to the body, the left hand position will feel more relaxed. With stage and studio ready ES-N nylon active electronics, NS soft cutaway, "BE-LOVE" triangle circle inlays, gloss finish body, and 1 7/8" nut width, the JMSM nylon string guitar will appeal to collectors and players looking for a top end nylon guitar.
