Not sure whether to get a straight or boom stand? With the HC43BW's convertible boom, you effectively get both since you can hide the boom in the main shaft.

Tama Stage Master boom cymbal stand with double braced legs now features the Quick-Set cymbal mate for faster setup and breakdown. The boom stand can easily be converted to a straight cymbal stand simply by inserting the boom arm into the upper tube.
