After a very short time with the Blues King 8 I am convinced that it commands it's premium price strictly based on tone quality. It is an infectious (pardon the word) amp in that it begs to be played. An absence of reverb shouldn't deter buyers and the one watt is adequate enough for providing warm, class A goodness. If you want to gig with an amp go with one of the higher in the line Blues Kings. I have it to noodle with around the house and for recording and for that application alone, I am very very excited to have the Blues King 8.
