Read the above. I expect to use this kit for a long time. I will have ti change some hardware peices but the drums are great

Sound
Decent for the price. This set has fusion sizes with single ply Remo heads. I used adhesive backed foam weatherstrip to muffle and tune the drums. That is a trick I have used for years. I used very little tension on the lugs on the top heads and a bit more on the bottom. The results were very good to excellent. I have a maple kit with bigger toms, and while the maple kit was a bit warmer, the difference was not that much different. My tuning techniques prevailed...I bought this kit because it is small and portable. Great Value all around. I am a seasoned player and find this set very repectable..

Features
The drums themselves are great. The tom holders and hardware on the drums are excellent. I found the bass pedal to be noisey and cheap feeling. The hi hat stand is useable and quiet. The cymbal stand is not good at all. I was hoping that the stand would be Sonor 100 series but it was not. THe snare stand is ok but again is not Sonor..

Ease of Use
Sets up Easy. The tom adjustments on the Tom holders are excellent. This is a small kit and sets up in minutes... A great weekend kit...

Quality
The drums themselves are surprisingly well put together. I can see them lasting as long as any professional kits I have ever owned. The wrap read more is nice looking the fit and finish is very good to excellent. The drum heads are good quality Remo heads and will definitely do the job for some time. The hardware (stands and pedals) are subpar compared to the drums themselves

Value
For the price, I think you are getting a great set of drums. Spend some time with initial tuning and I think you will be pleased..

Manufacturer Support
ZZounds is the best. I have not dealt with Sonor as of yet...
