This case, while designed for a guitar, will fit the Jaguar bass short scale almost perfectly. There is nothing else on the market that I could find that will fit as snugly. There is about 1/2" of fore-aft play, otherwise the case interior fits like a glove. The case if robust, and will provide excellent protection, and the latches are protected with molded in guards. The only thing that could be improved would be a lid for the storage areas just to keep things like picks and tuners from sliding around.
