"Good case for the money, with one small flaw."

The top is not reinforced. That's the only part of the case that is of any concern. I've found that's not as important, though, when it is closed. A lot of the pressure applied to the top is supported by the metal bracing on the sides. The only way something could actually happen to your guitar is if something that was both heavy and small enough to only hit the PLASTIC part of the case on top fell on the case. If it hit the case on the sides at all, I feel like the instrument would be fine. I would really only worry if I were flying or something-I would not ever check a guitar, especially in a case that isn't built like a tank. BTW, wind down the strings whenever appropriate-that's 100 lbs. of pressure on the neck! Overall, though, it's a good case, especially for the money.
