Is it the best guitar I've ever played? Maybe not, but for $499 and accepting the fact that the workmanship might not be up to snuff, it's a great value for the money. Look across the top and you'll see waves and even indentations and some rough spots but the sound is sweet and the guitar has a lasting resonance that tells you their core is right on. For the price, can't beat it and Seagull has found a market niche that will introduce a lot of new guitar players to the music they love. Buy it!
