Overview
Silvertone Paul Stanley Apocalypse Special Electric Guitar
Two of the best-known names in the music business, Paul Stanley of KISS and Silvertone Guitars, have introduced a new line of guitars personally designed by the rock legend himself. The Paul Stanley Apocalypse Series is available in two models, the Apocalypse Special and the Apocalypse Pro. Both models feature sculpted and contoured radical 'V' body designs, slick 22 fret-24 3/4 in. scale necks with rosewood fretboards, chrome hardware with solid Tune-o-matic stopped tailpieces, chrome bullet volume and tone controls, 3-way pickup selectors, and are finished in Liquid Black with outrageous Blood Red edge trim. The Apocalypse Special features a bolt-on maple neck with a sculpted cutaway heel, pearloid dot inlays, die-cast tuning machines, and two high output PSX humbucking pickups. The Apocalypse Pro features a set-in mahogany neck with diamond-cut pearloid inlays, Grover tuning machines, and two high output Duncan Designed humbucking pickups. Limited Lifetime Warranty.
Paul Says
'I can play any guitar I want. I choose Silvertone. The guitars are great playing, great sounding, and great looking guitars. These are today's style. We need more kids playing music and very few could afford signature guitars priced over $1000. Silvertone offers the quality any guitar player would be proud to own. I guarantee it.'

"Apocalypse Electric Guitar"

I have already bought other guitars/Instruments but they are in a different category, semi-hollow body, hollow body and keyboard so I didn't buy them cause I was unhappy with it. Just moving in a different musical direction since I got it. I intend to keep it.
Sound
It sounds good, it is the only solid body electric I own, I tend more toward semi hollow bodies. I put Rocker 11/48 nickel plated strings by Everly on it.
Features
I did not come with a case. I got the case from kiss.com and it is the most plush interior of any case I have. If I had it to do over I would buy the pro model for the set in neck, but I am happy. The pro model has come down in price since I got mine a year ago. It looks really cool, the red and black color and the shape. The shape is more for standup playing than sitting.
Quality
It came in good condition. I am big on guitar care and use fretboard conditioner, polish, etc and after a year and a few string changes it has held up very nicely. It is a good idea to keep an eye on it and tighten up things like screws here and there but same with all my other guitars.
Value
Its worth the money they ask but remember the case is an extra $100 or so. I don't think other very high priced solid body guitars are worth the money so I am happy with what I got for the money I spent.

The Wow Factor
I don't think guitars have sex appeal. It is a thing, not a living creature. I gave it a 9 so it would not appear to down grade my other ratings. I think you should take this question out of this review page.
Musical Background:
hobbiest. Not interested in joining a band or playing out
Musical Style:
Homemade based on rock, blues, country, pop read less
