Making V-Drums even quieter has involved painstaking research into sound transmission and construction materials, plus the development of all-new techniques to overcome the problem of drumming noise. Detailed testing in special facilities has revealed that the VQD106 V-Drums Quiet Design kit reduces noise by an astonishing 75 percent compared with a conventional V-Drums kit. The kick and hi-hat are incredibly smooth and quiet, and stick hits on the pads produce in-room sound levels similar to an average conversation.

Ultra-responsive snare and tom pads.
Despite all their advanced noise-reducing features, the snare and toms in the VQD106 kit deliver the great stick feel and natural rebound you expect from top-tier V-Drums pads. The PDQ-8S and PDQ-8 pads are built with a noise-absorbing honeycomb.
