This is a great mid level unit but I already could an upgrade. Like the td-9 with the ability to use the rim triggers on all pads!! But overall a fantastic unit!
Sound
The sounds are very high quality and very adjustable/tunable to meet your needs. The only real give away that it is electronic is the cymbal sounds, they are not bad but just fall a bit short of real. Overall in the price bracket they are great!
Features
It is some what expandable but the extra cymbal/ pad line is all you have.
Ease of Use
This is truley plug and play! The only bad thing is whatever set you modify it overrides the factory set, wish it had separate storable kits. The factory kits can be restored though.
Quality
So far been great! Had it for months and play everyday and the kids beat it up to knock on wood no issues yet.
Value
Roland products are not the lowest priced but well worth the money!
