The Rode PodMic is a broadcast-quality dynamic microphone optimized for podcasting. It has a rich, balanced sound, with an internal pop filter to minimize plosives and internal shock-mounting to reduce vibration.

The PodMic is optimized for use with the RODECaster Pro Podcast Production Studio, but will also offer exceptional results with any high-quality microphone interface.

The Pod mic sounds good and built like a tank. Well worth the price. I record a radio program and use a Shure SM7B and bought this as a spare or add another person on mym radio broadcast. After testing the Pod mic by recording a few minutes, I will have to say with a little help with the EQ on my GOXLR it can get close to the sound of the SM7B
