Remo Ambassador X14 is constructed with a coated single-ply of 14-mil Mylar for Xtreme single ply durability. The X14 is the world's most durable single-ply drumhead.

Remo Ambassador X14 Coated Drum Heads utilize the same film as the industry standard Coated Ambassador but are 20% thicker with coated single-ply 14-mil Mylar film, producing greater attack, volume and wider mid range tones while increasing durability and providing a unique feel for enhanced stick rebound.

The coated drumhead is slightly warmer than clear heads. They're known for their bright warm tones, resonance, and sustain. Coated heads are best known as batter and resonant heads warming up the sound of tom-toms and bass drums.
