"Bad Design Not Stable Not Practical"

Overall: 0.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Had this stand for 10 min and was already shopping for a new one. Not practical for stage use. It could be used in a studio environment with some modifications (welding). I bought this because it had the cool laptop holder attachemnt which is actually very nice and could be modified to use with other stands...but the actual stand is just an absolute nightmare. Too bad..I have always had good experiences with Quik-Lok products untill now.
Sound
N/A
Features
Not really portable. No rubber to hold the keyboards in place. Not stable with any of my boards (88 key and 12 lb Nord for example).
Ease of Use
Difficult to setup and dangerous...actually cut my finger pretty good the first time I tried to collapse and I'm a gigging musician that plays 100 times out a year or so and am not a newbie (needed stitches).
Quality
Components are good but the design is poor.
Value
Get the ultimate, or anything else.
Manufacturer Support
Came with no instructions or paperwork at all directly from Quik-Lok.
