Other features include fader start, for the Pioneer CDJ series, 3-band EQ per channel, microphone input, and very flexible headphone monitor split functions.

Auto BPM Counter
Equipped with a counter that automatically measures and digitally displays a track's BPM measurement range: 70-139 / 91-180 / 71-180 / Manual

The DJM-600 provides a visual confirmation of a track's tempo to allow the user to merge one song into another smoothly. Also, BPMs of tracks that are difficult to measure can be manually input by tapping on the TAP button.

Maximum interval: 6 seconds.

If set to the Stand-By mode when no sound is present, the function automatically starts and stops recording in response to the presence and absence of the input signal and achieves the correct sampling with perfect timing. What's more, the user can edit the end position, making possible a wide diversity of playback effects by making use of three playback mode options and the cross fader start.

Single Play: Plays read more back the recorded sound once only when the button is being pressed.

Loop Play: Plays back the recorded sound repeatedly when the button is pressed.

Linked to BPM, the DJM-600 can add effects to each CH, MIC and MASTER independently. The user can produce music that makes full use of high-level DJ techniques by performing quick setting with the Beat Unit Switch button, adjusting the precise time parameters, or controlling the balance between the effect sounds and the original sounds by varying the mix ratio. Moreover, even when using the fader, it is possible to leave just the effect sounds without linking to BPM.

Delay: Repeats a sound once. The user can set the delay to their desired tempo.

Echo: Repeats a sound several times. The user can set the echo sound to their desired tempo.

Auto Pan: Automatically shifts the sound to the right and left. Also capable of short auto pan sequences that would be impossible via manual operation.

Auto Trans: Periodically cuts the sound.

Auto Filter: Periodically varies the sound color.

Additionally, choruses can be made by employing mix ratios.

External Effect Input (send/return): Allows the user to connect the mixer to an external effector or sampler, etc.

Choosing Plural with the headphone cue, the user can also hear mixed sound. Moreover, this function can perform right and left level adjustment, thereby making monitoring easier.

Fader Start Play
Connected to the CDJ Series, the DJM-600 can begin playback of a track using the sliding cross fader or the channel fader. It can mix tracks without creating spaces by setting the stand-by track's cue point and performing a single-action cut-in. Since it returns to the cue point via the back fader alone, sampler-style playback is also possible. Start/back play of sources recorded using the built-in sampler is also possible using the cross fader.

Equalizers
The DJM-600 is equipped with a separate HI/MID/LOW 3-band equalizer for each channel. This arrangement allows the stress of the instrument sounds to be adjusted within the range -26dB to +12dBfor an improvement of about 100% (Pioneer comparison) in sound extraction.

i would have to save for a bit, but i'll never use another mixer unless i buy a battle style mixer to ADD to my setup. but my pioneer will always rane supreme!
Sound
the volume level is infinate, distortion is never a factor. i use both a behringer equalizer and enhancer so the sound cleans up very easily. the headphone jack also produces more than enough volume for any venue i've played.
Features
can't possibly name them all!!!
Quality
i've beaten mine in to the dirt on some nights, playing for up to eight hours in a row with no noticeable degredation. (if any at all)the crossfader however, does not compare to that of a battle mixer. i'm on my third right now, heavy scratching seems to beat them up kind of quickly.
Value
in the dance music scene a pioneer mixer is almost always the norm because of it's versatility and ease of use of built in effects. the price is steep, but it has any and everything you could ever want in a single mixer. i have no regrets.
Manufacturer Support
company is fairly large and hard to contact during busy hours, but helpfull and quick to keep the consumer happy.
The Wow Factor
when you see it at numerous clubs and events it automatically raises the want level, but it is a beauty! both the silver and black are sharp lookin. it just screams cool points and boasts with style.
