Input Section
With 4 channels that accept either XLR or 1/4 in. inputs, any microphone or other line input source can be accommodated, plus super musical 2-band EQ to assure you of better sound quality. A set of tape inputs that accept RCA plugs for a CD player or cassette deck allows you to route them directly to the main output.

Plenty of Power
The POWERPOD 406 has a 100-watt power amplifier, while the POWERPOD 408 is 120 watts. This amplifier uses Phonic's genuine circuitry design, providing lighter weight and, equally important, cooler operation. The amplifier is protected from damage by a built-in limiter that will also protect the connected speakers. With these output power, it will be very difficult for others not to hear you!

Rugged Wooden Box
Made of real Mainland limber and wrapped in noble black carpet, this combination gives you the durability as well as a sense of security, allowing you to sit back even though it does not receive any tender care. It will never fail you!

Digital Delay
POWERPOD 408 has a high quality DSP processor built inside. It features 1 level control and 2 read more parameter controls (1 for time and the other for delay), specifically designed for live applications. The effect can then be sent to the stereo mix as well as to the monitors. This way the performer can hear the effect as well. read less

"Great little 4 channel PA!"

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Sound
I think anyone who is going to buy a small system like this is basically going to only use it for practice or small venues. With that in mind, it's a great little PA. It has good (not great) sound quality and is as simple as it gets.
Features
It really doesn't have any bells and whistles. But then again, it has all you need to get your sound accross.
Ease of Use
It has a high knob and a low knob. Once again, simple, but your not going to be able to tweak it much.
Quality
I would have to say that I'm very pleased with the overall quality of this product. I've hauld it in the back of my pick-up, left it on all day, and it keeps right on going.
Value
I am very pleased with the price of this item when compared to others on the market.
