If you've got a ValveKing and you want to use some of the footswitchable tones, then you've got to get yourself a Valve King footswitch. Featuring two LED indicator lights you can choose channels or volume/lead tones at the press of your foot. Includes a 15 foot cable and 1/4 inch right angle plug.

Most people seem to call this an entry level amp, and I have to disagree. While not as promoted and fancy as the Marshall's and the Engl's in the metal community, the price point is anything but entry level. But I believe it's worth every penny. I love this thing, it does everything I tell it to. Granted, it took me a day or two to really find the tone I was looking for, but it was there. If you are looking for a good hard rock/Metal amp, and you don't have $3,000...than this is it. Also, I highly encourage you to buy the footswitch. It's the only way to get the gain boost you need. And, it just makes life easier.
