"Super utility instrument"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I wasn't very particular when looking for a guitar to be my main utility instrument. I just wanted something to use for teaching, recording, and occasionally jamming. However, I've found this thing strapped to me more in the last two days than I have had my Les Paul for the past month! It's a great feeling, and I'm really happy with everything about the instrument. I've no need to search for another guitar for quite some time.

Sound
I'm fairly happy with everything about it right out of the box. The pickups might not be pro-grade, but there's still a nice amount of clarity in them. The volume knob has a very subtle change of volume at every setting, and is very smooth. I love it!

Features
I didn't get the bar with mine. The tremolo bridge is a bit stiff and so far hasn't given me much range to drop. It's not a Floyd, but it does stay in tune pretty well - don't expect to lock the strings or pull sharp...

Quality
The picture of the quilt green looked exquisite, but it doesn't look as nice in person. Not bad, but you can tell it's not a real quilt. Quality of anything on the guitar seems to be adequate - nothing is suffering in that department. I think that this guitar will be a nice consistent worker for me.

Value
I think for what it is, you've just got to be extremely happy with this instrument. Don't expect the guitar to compare to a $1000.00 read more model (although you might find that it really does!), just be pleasantly surprised with what you get for so little!

Manufacturer Support
Knock on "film top", I haven't had to contact them.

The Wow Factor
I find it a joy to hold and play. It's sleek, light, and the curves are just in the right places. The fake quilt might take my overall rating a notch down, but then again, I don't stare at the body when I'm playing!
