Overview
When you first lay eyes on the Forte Exotic JE you won't help but notice the guitar's striking Java Ebony top. The styling is enhanced thanks to a bold satin black finish on the Okoume back and sides, along with the addition of black binding and hardware. The sonic performance is just as striking as the Forte Exotic's look. These woods combine to give you a full-bodied rich and deep tone. Michael Kelly further improves performance via Port Technology, positioning the soundhole off center and opening up a larger soundboard.

Right out of the box this guitar came set up and ready to play. No sharp frets. Quickly tuned up and plugged into a PA… very crisp sound on par with much more expensive guitars. Unplugged this guitar DOES NOT disappoint at all. It has a nice rounded, even tone. The Fishman electronics also have a built in tuner. I love not having bridge pins… just a cool touch. It’s easy to play and if it ever disappears, I will buy another one. My other acoustics are a Martin D-28 and 0007. This cheap guitar really doesn’t feel cheap nor does it sound cheap.
