With Bass Floor POD(R), you can have any bass amp sound that you want with the twist of a knob. 5 essential bass amp models and a synth bass model give you a huge range of sounds from vintage punch to modern grind. Your basslines will sound better than ever before.

Clean
Inspired by* the Eden Traveler, this model is all about clean, funk and fusion bass tone. It'll give you all the warm lows and punchy highs you need

R&B
Inspired by* a 1968 B-15 Flip Top, this model is a tribute to those late 60's and early 70's clean fat bass tones. It is the kind of tone you hear on most Motown recordings, as played by a pioneering young James Jamerson.

Rock
This model is inspired by* the '74 Ampeg(R) SVT(R). This workhorse has appeared on innumerable recordings and arena stages worldwide. And now all the tone of the read more 300-pound behemoth 8X10 and head is available in your combo!

Grind
As the name would suggest, this is for modern rock lovers, Alice in Chains to Mudvayne and Rage Against The Machine. Based on* a distorted SansAmp PSA-1 into an SVT(R) in addition to a direct clean bass signal mixed in, this model gives you that angry, clear and punchy aggression that takes your sound to DEFCON 1.

Synth
Sitting at the back of the model knob is this secret weapon that turns your Bass Floor POD into a classic'70s bass synth. From funk to modern rock, this synth model delivers incredible tones and tracks every dynamic move you make with ease.

Effects
It's time to get those great bass effects you're looking for with none of the hassle. Bass Floor POD Smart Control FX gives you ridiculously easy operation of essential bass effects including an Envelope Filter, Octaver, and Chorus. Just turn the knob for the desired intensity of the effect and you're ready to go. You also have a built-in wah/volume pedal.

Envelope Filter
Modeled after* an Electro-Harmonix(R) Q-Tron, this is the baddest envelope filter on the planet. This effect has been used on countless funk records from the 70s through today. An envelope filter is a wah-wah type effect that is controlled by the dynamics of your bass note instead of being controlled by your feet.

Octaver
Modeled after* the EBS(R) OctaBass(R), this effect produces a single note one octave below the pitch of the played note, adding a powerful new vibe to your sound.

Chorus
Modeled after* the iconic T.C. Electronic(R) Chorus, this is the most transparent, smooth and expressive bass chorus ever built. Using it will not reduce your low end. It is especially beautiful on fretless bass.

Sound
Sounds decent. Almost every preset is crap, but the basic models are good.
Features
It is missing one important feature which is a Low Z output. It would be nice if it had an USB w/software link too. I guess at the price I bought it for that it is actually a good deal though.
Ease of Use
Using the basic models, it is not too hard to setup your own decent presets.
Quality
Seem's to be sturdy enough.
Value
Good buy for the discount prices that are easily found.
Manufacturer Support
There website seems user friendly.
