Add more attack and sustain to your P or J bass! Leo Quan's Badass V bridge is built with a high-density zinc alloy and fits on Fender-style basses.

Designed as a direct-replacement bridge for 4-screw and 6-screw Fender 5-string bass bridges, the Badass V offers 5-string Precision Bass and 5-string Jazz Bass players increased attack, sustain, and note-clarity. This bridge is designed to work with string spacing from 0.69" (17.5mm) to 0.75" (19mm).

- Direct retrofit for Fender 5-string basses with bridges secured by 4 or 6 mounting screws.
- High-density Zinc alloy offers increased attack and sustain.
- Pre-grooved saddles for easier installation and accommodation of wider or narrower string-spacing.
- Can be strung through-bridge (top-loading) or through-body.
- Low B-string string-through-bridge hole now accommodates 135-gauge standard bass strings or 145-gauge taper-wound strings.
- Color-matched mounting screws and height-adjustment Allen wrench included.
- 0.68" (17.5mm) Narrow String Spacing (Mexico-made Fender models)
- 0.75" (19mm) Wide String Spacing (US-made Fender models)

These are not a direct replacement for any Squier. Given that a Hipshot Kickass V bridge is half the price you will wonder what you paid extra for. Where the Hipshot has a more positive design and your strings sit securely in a movable brass saddle this model gives small grooves to move your strings to for pickup alignment. The problem comes in that those grooves are very shallow and your strings do not stay put in them. You pretty much have to find the best spot and file that slot out more. The upside. It is massive and will act as a counterweight for a neck heavy bass. I would never buy another one of these.
