Hard-biting middles and bright highs define this vintage guitar speaker. These tones stay balanced when put into overdrive.

"Gutsy speaker with a lot of nuance"
Put this in a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe (a replacement for the same speaker in a special edition Hot Rod).
Both this and the original speaker sound fantastic -- other Hot Rod owners almost always comment on it. We use it in a drum/guitar duo and so we beat it up pretty hard to get all the low end out of it. The first speaker blew after about 3 years of hard use -- turned out there was a cracked solder joint before it blew, so the speaker itself might not even be to blame.
But most importantly - excellent sound, full and rugged enough to drive a rock duo for years!
Musical Background:
Regularly gigging multi-instrumentalist for 5+ years
Musical Style:
Rock, Funk, Blues, Afro-Beat
