The ISP Decimator pedal is a revolutionary noise gate, to cut out unwanted humming when you're not playing. The ISP Decimator pedal is also very easy to use.
Overview
Find out why everyone is saying this is the best noise reduction pedal available anywhere! The Decimator Noise Reduction System. From the original inventors of HUSH noise reduction comes the most advanced, patented, state of the art technology in real time noise reduction. The Decimator offers a revolutionary breakthrough in Noise Reduction processing with an unparalleled level of performance.
The HUSH system, as well as all other noise reduction systems suffers from one major problem inherent in their design: The system cannot be immediately responsive to very short-term staccato notes. The typical downward expander noise reduction system suffers from a dead zone in the release response characteristic which causes a compromise in tracking both fast decaying notes and long sustained notes.

Next Generation Tracking
The Decimator design offers a novel approach to tracking the envelope of the input signal called Time Vector Processing. Due to this novel approach in controlling the expander, the Decimator system will instantly respond to short staccato notes and, at the same time, will provide a very slow ripple free control of long sustained notes. This means that the Decimator noise reduction system is the most transparent and highest performance noise reduction system available.Dead Simple To Use

ISP Decimator Pedal Customer Review
Sound
It sounds like silence. When it's on, it sounds like your amp is off, no hum, no buzz, no feedback. All of your intended notes come through loud and clear, with no tone interference, and no effect on your sustain. I advise turning it off if you switch to a clean channel, or turn down your guitar's volume as it can cut some quieter notes off.
Features
The only control is the threshold sensitivity, which is all it needs. Makes for a very user-friendly interface.
Value
More expensive than other units, but if you're serious about killing noise, this is the best so be ready to fork over those extra clams.
The Wow Factor
The awesome mirrored-metal casing is awesome and definitely desirable, even sexy. Of course it's performance alone should put it on the top of any gainhead's wish list.
