2 channels. Footswitch. Headphone jack.

Why is the newest name in amps the fast growing name in amps? Because Ibanez recognized that the world didn't need another amp dedicated to recreating the sounds of yesteryear. Instead they came with amps spec'ed and voiced for today's tones. Obviously, they did something right, because players and retailers kept telling us they wanted more -- and they wanted bigger. For 2003, after endless hours of R&D and testing, here is more and bigger: the new Ibanez 100-watt stack and combo amplifiers.

Features:
100-watt head with reverb

2 footswitchable discrete channels (clean and crunch) w/independent active 3-band EQ and level controls

Footswitchable mid-shift on the overdrive channel

"Crunch" circuit available on the clean channel

Effects loop

Headphone jack

Footswitch jack

4-button metal footswitch

The only way this beauty will ever be replaced is if I run into $3000.00 and buy a Mesa Rectifier and Mesa 4x12 stack.
Sound
I was very surprised at the tone and warmth of this Amp. The price kind of scared me. They say you get what you pay for. But don't let the price fool you. This Amp sounds great. I owned the Marshall Valvestate 50 with the Marshall 4x12 and returned it. I owned the Marshall MG100HDFX with a Mesa Boogie 2x12 bottom and returned it. This Amp in my opinion blows those 2 out of the water as far as tone and clarity.
Features
This Amp has pretty basic features. The control knobs are are quite sensitive. The footswitch gives you a fairly diverse aray of sound capabilities, and the Boost button is nice.
Quality
This has to be about the sturdiest Head and Cabinet package I looked at. The Cabinet is as unbelievably well built, and the Head is equally impressive.
Value
I paid $500.00 for this new Half Stack at a dealer, and can without a doubt say this is probably the best bang for the buck I've ever purchased.
Manufacturer Support
No dealings as of yet.
The Wow Factor
Great looks. To me no other half stack under $1000.00 compares to this package. Very good looking piece of equipment.
