A heavier mahogany battle axe than the S, the Ibanez SZR is thicker for more screaming, fat tone. Its 25.1-inch neck has a different feel than the 25.5-inch scale of the S. The SZR's contours make up for any weight difference with a physical comfort that's almost obscene. New for 2009, the SZR520 with natural finish flame maple top.
