zZounds Gear Experts Say...
25.1 in. scale. Rosewood finger board. Mahogany body.
Overview
Evolution doesn't have to mean more complicated. The SC and SCA S Classic axes and the new SZ have evolved into even simpler instruments than their famous S ancestor. The comfortable slim body with fat mahogany tone and sustain that made the S famous is there -- but the SZ and S-Classics feature simple fixed bridges and a 25.1 scale neck that has a different feel than the S guitar's 25.5 scale.
Features:
SC Neck -- The 25.1 in. scale SC neck is looser in feel than Ibanez' 25.5 in. RG necks, but not as loose as their 24.75 in. Artstars. The bolted-on All-Access neck joint allows the easy access to the upper frets associated with set-in and neck-thru joints.
Mahogany Body -- Mahogany provides rich warm lows and sweet sustain
Rosewood Finger Board -- Rosewood offers a strong, bright sound and an attractive appearance with a long grain
SCA Series Features:
25.1 in. neck scale offers a feel that's tighter than a Les Paul, but looser than a Strat.*
Tonal versatility of V Series pickups combined with the Special-5 switching system.
Mahogany body and Shortstop tail piece for rich, fat tone with superb sustain.
*"Strat" is a registered trademark of Fender Musical instruments. Les Paul is a registered trademark of Gibson Guitar Corp. Ibanez is not affiliated with either company.

"Buy the Ibanez SCA220"
This is the best guitar i have ever had (very versatile), buy now and you wont be desapointed!!!
Sound
Has an awsome sound, i feel it has a crisper sound then the strata casta's but thats my opinion. Great clean sound and very versatile, suitable for all styles of music from metal to rock to country and then even classical guitaring.
Features
The five switch is useful, easy to tune, great pick-up system, but really needs a lock-in system which you can add to it for around $200
Quality
The pick-ups could be slightly better, but looks good and sounds great.
Value
Great price, i payed $850 for mine, wish i had of came here!!! But even for the price it was worth it.
Manufacturer Support
Ibanez is easy to deal with, very helpful. Hard to find this guitar though, should buy it now. No service as needed yet, so going great
The Wow Factor
I saw this guitar on the shelf and automatically wanted to buy it. It looks so good live and sounds just as good. Love the ibanez look and eats the fenders alive. I love my guitar!!!
