The Ibanez RG420 is built around a Mahogany body and features a fast, thin, Wizard III Maple neck--an achievement in player comfort designed to maximize performance. A Rosewood fretboard with jumbo frets provides a smooth, inviting playing surface and contributes to the RG420's warm, well-defined tonality. Proprietary Quantum pickups round out this metal mammoth with an entire palette of thick, distorted tone textures that retain high-end articulation. A Standard DL double-locking tremolo system stabilizes tuning for even the most aggressive playing styles.
