Are you suffering from too much unwanted noise? The Pentatone Gate pedal gives you just the noise gate from the Ibanez Pentatone Preamp pedal.

The Pentatone Gate is a standalone version of the GATE section in the Ibanez Pentatone Preamp. This gate achieves a quick response and natural sustain and has an added threshold mode switch which allows you to adjust the threshold in the appropriate range.

Furthermore, thanks to the 4 I/O jacks, the gate circuitry can work at a proper location, such as right after distortion pedals or in between the send/return of a guitar amplifier.

I bought this gate on a whim. I couldn't find any reviews or demos at the time of purchase, but I'm happy I decided to give this a try. It works as well, if not better than the Boss NS-2 Noise Suppressor and was cheaper. I use very high gain pedals like the the Boss HM-2 and it is gating perfectly. If it can handle those type of pedals, shouldn't be much else it can't handle. Very well built and works exactly as it should.
