Overview

The Ibanez PF15ECE acoustic-electric guitar offers all of the advantages of acoustic dreadnought design. Combining rich tone, clear attack, and full low-end presence, the Performance series dreadnought body guitars have become some of the most popular instruments among musicians looking for robust sound and easy playability that doesn't break the bank.

Combining a spruce top with sapele back and sides, the PF15ECE uses the same foundation as many higher priced guitars. Also included is the Ibanez AEQ-2T preamp w/Onboard tuner for amplified play, and the onboard tuner allows you to dial in your desired sound without the need for additional accessories.

"Get what you pay for"

It's a $200 guitar. You can't expect too much, especially when it comes to acoustics. I had no problem with the fret-ends being sharp. The neck actually feels great! The strings are garbage and should be replaced immediately so go ahead and add some of those to your cart right now. I recommend the D'Addario EJ26 custom lights. The sound is surprisingly balanced for being such an affordable guitar. it's warm and bright but not too much of either. Tuner works great. I've only plugged it in for a couple minutes but it sounds great there as well. Oh, and it has an adjustable truss rod!! big plus! The BAD part--is i'm going to have to file/sand down the bridge because the action is RIDICULOUSLY high as you go towards the body...like 1/4 inch of the neck! It came with an extra bridge so i'm going to try and take a crack at sanding a mil or 2 off the bottom of the saddle and see if that helps. Other than that I think it's great...again...for $200
