Ibanez LS300 Lonestar Acoustic-Electric Guitar

Flashback to the mid-1980s: the acoustic guitar had fallen from fashion, which sent guitar builders in search of ways to re-ignite player interest. Ibanez answered the challenge with a new acoustic guitar that mirrored some of the characteristics found on their more popular electric models. The result was the Lonestar Series of acoustics. For 2015, Ibanez pays homage to the Lonestar acoustic era with a limited run of two models influenced by this unique design.

The new Limited Edition Ibanez LS300BK is an acoustic/electric dreadnought cutaway with a Mahogany top, back and sides. It features the distinctive, acutely pointed Lonestar headstock with six topside in-line tuners, and a Mahogany neck with Rosewood fretboard and offset Mother of Pearl dot inlays. All-Mahogany construction provides warm lows with smooth high-end articulation.

For applications where amplification is required, the LS300BK is fitted with a peizo pickup run through an Ibanez AEQ200T Preamp w/ Onboard Tuner for complete tone control and discreet tuning. A beautiful Mother of Pearl Rosette surrounds the soundhole and is complemented with a striking Mother of Pearl pickguard. Other features include Chrome Open Gear tuners and a rich Deep Blackberry Gloss finish.
