Ibanez AW400 Acoustic Guitar
No longer available at zZounds
This traditional, yet modern acoustic guitar produces a warm, full-bodied tone thanks to its dreadnought shape, solid spruce top and mahogany back and sides.
Overview
The dreadnought body shape of the Ibanez AW400, along with the solid Sitka Spruce top, delivers enormous frequency range that offers wave after wave of shimmering highs along with tight mids and a full-bodied low end. The guitars full sound is the result of using a solid spruce top with mahogany as a back-and-side material. A special satin finish treatment to the back and sides means less overall finish is applied to the guitar allowing it to breathe better.
A simple, clean, multi rosette handsomely appointed a high-gloss finished top. Grover tuners ensure smooth, accurate, stable tuning.
The Artwood series is the embodiment of what might be called the Ibanez "modern approach to tradition." Cutting edge woodworking technology enables the guitar maker's luthiers to reproduce the sophisticated bracing techniques of one-of-a-kind instruments of yesteryear.
While tradition is obviously the hallmark of the Artwood series, the company's decades-long search for the ultimate in acoustic tone has contributed to design alterations that give Artwood a voice all its own.

"Great Guitar, Good Price"

I am a fairly new guitar player and decided to upgrade from a laminated to a solid top. Boy does it make a difference. Did my research mostly online and through YouTube and decide on the Ibanez AW400. Great choice for me as the playability and sound are superb. Finger picking and barre chords are so much easier on this guitar than my old one. zZounds payment plan is terrific as it allows me to pay in installments instead of forking up the whole lump sum. Will be purchasing my next guitar from them.
