Ibanez AVN3 Artwood Vintage Parlor Guitar

As a "modern approach to acoustic guitar tradition", the Ibanez Artwood Series of acoustic instruments has long been a source of pride and a labor of love. Now with the new Artwood Vintage Series, Ibanez looks to the past for inspiration in the development of new historically influenced instruments.

Inspired by instruments dating back to the American Civil War, the AVN3NT is a reflection of a more genteel era. It features a stately Parlor 2 body style, a short scale Mahogany neck with a 12th fret body joint, and a classic slotted headstock. A solid Sitka Spruce top, compliments the Mahogany back and sides to produce a bright, balanced sound as the bone nut and saddle allow for optimum transference of string vibrations. A handsome Classical Mosaic Rosette surrounds the soundhole and a stylish rope-pattern purfling outlines the perimeter of the solid Spruce top for a look of tempered elegance. Other features include a Rosewood fretboard, high gloss natural finish, and a set of Open-gear tuners for superior tuning stability.
