I don't anticipate replacing this guitar, although I do believe I'll look into purchasing another guitar from this maker in the future (perhaps a 12-string, for instance). I'm just glad I discovered this guitar line before I purchased something else.

Sound
This guitar sounds like your average $1000 guitar- quite an accomplishment for a guitar that cost less than $300! I actually stopped in at my local BIG BOX music store just a few days before this guitar arrived, just to give myself a few benchmarks for comparison. I have to say that this Great Divide compares favorably to offerings from both Martin and Taylor at 3-4 times the price.

Features
High-quality materials, real FISHMAN electronics, accurate built-in tuner, actual inlaid rosette, and a spotless interior (I looked with a dental mirror- outstanding!). I don't see how anyone could realistically ask for anything else at this price point- or well beyond. I'm also looking forward to hearing the tone of this guitar improve with age and use, as happens with solid-wood instruments.

Ease of Use
The guitar sounds excellent by itself, and the FISHMAN pickup system does a great job of translating the natural sound. Additionally, the phase and contour switches are excellent for tailoring the response to any given amplification system.

Quality
As I mentioned above, the interior of this guitar is flawless- read more no glue drips etc. Any company that puts that much thought into the part of the instrument you DON'T see... enough said. The finish is excellent, the nut and frets are well shaped and polished. It seems as solid as any acoustic available, and I would certainly replace it with another of the same model were I to lose or fatally damage it.

Value
I'd say this guitar is worth 3-4 times it's current selling price when compared to any competitors' products.

Manufacturer Support
Thus far, the only contact I had with the company was in registering my warranty and claiming the FREE amplifer that was offered with the purchase of this guitar. They were very prompt with their replies and shipping/handling of the free amp. I have every confidence that this company will take care of any issues I may have should they arise.

The Wow Factor
It is indeed a handsome instrument, and has a high-quality feel. It is both a practical and beautiful guitar.
