Overview

The Gibson 2016 J-45 stays true to the original, including the same round-shoulder dreadnought body design, an enhanced top made from Thermally Aged Adirondack red spruce, custom vintage hide glue top bracing, and back and sides constructed from genuine mahogany providing the best sounding J-45. Thermally Aged top woods were developed with the help of a major university for use on our 2016 Vintage line. This allows Gibson to replicate the aging process on the cellular level for that legendary Gibson Acoustic vintage sound and appearance.
