This guitar is pretty much exactly what I expected. Very visually appealing. The rosewood burst is not as red in person as it appears in the stock photos. More of reddish brown. I actually prefer this. The fit and finish of this guitar is about an 8/10. I feel this is right on at this price range. The flaws are minimal but noticeable but that's something I like about the studio model. It's meant to be played and that's it. The neck is very reminiscent of a les Paul and is also a beautiful piece of wood. The rosewood is gorgeous. The sound of this guitar is bright and clear with a deepish but not muddy bass. Great all around guitar but probably not ideal for more traditional style country. I'm really happy with the vintage look versatile sound of this guitar. Also the electronics are completely hidden which is awesome. I actually forgot it was an acoustic electric when I First unpacked it.
