zZounds Gear Experts Say...
Solid maple body, top and fingerboard. '57 Classic pickups. Kluson-style green key tuners.
Overview
Gibson USA's Les Paul Studio Raw Power is the Les Paul in its most basic form, yet built like none other before it. And it starts with a solid maple body to match its traditional maple top, resulting in a more articulate, bright tone. A maple fingerboard gives each played note a snappier response. A pair of Gibson's renowned '57 Classic pickups provides all the clear punch and muscle of those legendary "PAFs." There's also a new palette of satin finish colors to choose from: White, Blue/Platinum, Transparent Ebony, and Natural.
All the rest of the basics remain the same: 22-fret solid maple neck, a volume and control knob for each pickup, one three-way toggle switch, Grover Kluson-style green key tuners and Gibson's pioneering Tune-o-matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece. The new Les Paul Studio Raw Power from Gibson USA is solid. It's dependable. And most of all, it's affordable - without any compromises.

Sound
All of the attributes of the traditionals familiar sound but with just a broader top end when needed... dial up the tone and you get the last bit of sparkle out of all that maple that the tradational cant.
Features
Everything is in line finish is great hardware great only feature I would have liked is better inlays... No contrast, which is probably good because ther dots anyway.
Also a case would have been nice, msrp puts this priced above a Studio so they ship it in a gig bag, wtf?
Ease of Use
Plug in and go works like ever other LP I have owned or laid hands on.
Quality
Everything about the guitar was perfect except a couple of lower frets were a bit rough, a swipe with the sand paper cleaned it up but again not perfect as I hoped for
Value
I wanted something unique without sacraficing on the playability and I got more than I bargained for.
Great tone, great action, total package.
Manufacturer Support
Best support is the one you never have to use, but its Gibson and I never had a problem with them ansewering my call before.
The Wow Factor
Looks hot and new not just like every other LP ever sold the maple neck sets it apart from every other LP.
