Overview

This is the Gibson ES-195, a big-bodied fully-hollow with a slick looking Ebony finish, built with a maple/poplar/maple body, slim "C" shaped maple neck, outlined with white binding, and topped off with a classy Bigsby vibrato.

Features:

- 100% American made, in Memphis, TN
- Calibrated P-94 pickups having 10K winding on the neck position pickup and 10.5K windings on the bridge position pickup. Both pickups have Alnico 2 magnets and the bridge pickup is reverse wound for reverse polarity so they are hum-canceling when they are both on.
- Six on a side mini Grover tuners
- Gold plated Bigsby
- Hardshell Case

I bought this guitar when I heard it on You Tube being demonstrated and compared to the ES175. I wanted the 175 but at the moment did not want to lay out the 3000 plus dollars for it. This guitar is very close in sound and the quality is super. Played great out of the box no adjustment needed. Great sound through my Super Reverb and very very comfortable to play. Get one and you'll see!
