RCV is a passive box designed to receive balanced signal from the Goodwood Audio LongLine. RCV can receive a stereo or mono XLR signal from LongLine and convert it to unbalanced 1/4" outputs so you can plug your signal directly into your amp(s). RCV is designed to work in three configurations -- all receiving signal from LongLines XLR outputs.

A stereo XLR inputs - sending to two amps via RCV.
A dual mono signal - LongLine would be using it's summing or splitting options for this and still sending signal to two amps via RCV.
A Mono signal - Sending one XLR output from LongLine, you would now plug into RCV's left XLR input and it's left 1/4" output to your amp input.

RCV Inputs and Outputs:
- Female XLR inputs: These XLR inputs are fed via XLR by the LongLine XLR outputs. On RCV, the Left female XLR input connects to the Left 1/4" output after being converted from balanced XLR to unbalanced 1/4". The same goes for the Right female XLR to right unbalanced 1/4" onboard RCV. If using mono, use the left input and output on RCV.

- Left and Right 1/4" unbalanced TS outputs: Plug these into your amp(s). If using in mono, plug in and out of the left input and output. Use a standard unbalanced guitar instrument lead or patch cable to connect to your amp. Best practice would suggest keeping this cable as short as possible, 5 feet being ideal.
