Fender Rumble 100 Bass Guitar Amplifier (100 Watts, 1x15 in.)

No longer available at zZounds
Bass, Treble, Mid, and Mid Scoop control.

The Rumble 100 combo is the "Big Daddy" of Fender's new Rumble Series, and - for good reason. Featuring 100 watts of power being delivered via a Fender Special Design 15 in. speaker and horn, the Rumble 100 produces more boom for the buck than any other combo. Its killer tone can be shaped via its Bass, Treble and two Mid controls, including a Mid Scoop control for thumb-style slapping and popping.

Displaying attributes usually found on more expensive amplifiers, Rumble Series combos feature carpet covering, oversized plastic corners, metal grille and the new Fender® Bass Amplification logo. Also, the Rumble 100, 60 and 25 combo's exclusive red "stage light" pulsates with your playing to inspire you to get better faster! Available in four different models, Rumble Series combos have the tones and features demanded by pro players, yet are affordable enough for beginning bassists.

Good tone, reasonable volume, pro features but not overly complex, this thing has been a reliable work-horse for me.
Sound
Simple versatile tone controls make adjustment easy. Tone is not affected too much by volume, so you can play clean at both high and low settings. The cheezy lights are part of a current limiting circuit that enhances smoothness and audibility.
Features
Balanced line out with volume is a really helpful thing to have when going direct to PA. Preamp in and out allows easy effect inserts without too much noise. Love the size and the wheels!
Ease of Use
This is as easy as bass amps can get while still including the pro features and versatility.
Quality
Overall, really good after a year of hard regular use. I had to re-tighten the speaker-bolts because they started rattling. Other than that, no problems.
Value
The price-to-performance ratio is great.
Manufacturer Support
Haven't needed any yet.
The Wow Factor
This isn't too fancy, but it has the working-man's stamp of approval.
