Combining exotic tonewoods with premium pickups and appointments, the limited-edition Rarities Collection creates a truly unique musical experience. The Rarities Red Mahogany Top Telecaster features a two-piece, grain-filled ash body with a figured red mahogany top and a one-piece maple neck. The Custom Shop vintage-style Tele bridge pickup is matched to a Custom Shop Twisted Tele neck pickup for a rousing good time.

The "Deep C"-shaped, one-piece maple neck provides classic Tele twang while the 9.5"-radius fingerboard and narrow-tall frets make bending easy. Other features include gold hardware, matching tortoiseshell pickguard and binding, vintage-style bridge with compensated brass saddles, black pearloid dot inlays, treble bleed circuit and a special Limited Edition neck plate. Includes a brown vintage-style hardshell case.

I purchased this from zZounds after reading so many positive reviews of the guitar (and I am a long time shopper/fan of zZounds). As usual, it arrived quickly, perfectly setup. It is a beautiful instrument, front and back. I have only recently started using with my band. I have played a few Teles in the past, and until this one, have not been all that impressed. This model ROCKS...you can get so many different (and great) sounds...flick of the pickup selector...adjust volume...adjust where you're playing (pick/strum hand)....I play most anything except country (just not a fan) and I have this baby through workouts and she has not let me down yet.If you've never played/owned a Tele or have a less than favorable opinion of them, just try this one.

40 years...guitar, bass, acoustic, electric...played in a few bands...never professionally...

Musical Style:

Rock n' Roll-all flavors from Rockabilly to various degrees of metal.....
