Overview
Designed for the man who's held down the low end for Guns N' Roses, Velvet Revolver, Jane's Addiction and many others, the Duff McKagan Signature bass is rock 'n' roll. Based on the instrument he's used ever since the first GNR album, the Duff McKagan Signature model is a distinctive, sleek and full-sounding reissue of the '80s-era Jazz Bass Special, which combined a Precision Bass body with a Jazz Bass neck and Precision and Jazz Bass pickups. That's all here, with a Pearl White finish, gloss black neck and headstock, TBX treble/bass cut circuit, black hardware and custom skull-engraved neck plate.

I had always wanted one of these Signature Duff models, so I took the chance and got one. First off...for a Bass that is priced at a little over $1000.00 it is not worth the price..Fender has horrible quality standards. The Fourth fret has a dab of what looks like glue that got slopped on the rosewood. The knobs when turned, put off a static noise through your amp, and when playing...the static can be heard through the strings as well. I’m assuming this is a issue with the wiring or Pots?? Horribly unplayable out of the box. Buzzing everywhere! I wonder if I got one that was returned? Not sure where to go with it now...Buy at your own risk. Fender quality isn’t there anymore.
